It is always an honor when someone selects Harrington’s as their photographer. We are aware of the choices that our clients have. It is an extra honor though when a friend and fellow church member selects us and trusts us with their memories.
Sam is very active at Grace Episcopal Cathedral. He is one of the lead acolytes and is active in the youth ministry. One thing that many may not know about Sam is that he and his family play a key role in the Saturday morning peanut butter ministry. After learning that their were few options for the hungry of Topeka on Saturdays they played an instrumental role in developing the Saturday morning peanut butter sandwich ministry. As Ron, Sam’s father says, peanut butter sandwiches aren’t a lot but when it’s all you have to eat until Monday it becomes very important!
The other passion that Sam has is for Soccer. As a matter of fact doing his photography sessions didn’t involve a lot of different locations actually just three 1. The studio 2. The church and 3. The soccer field at Lake Shawnee!
Michelle & Adam were a lot of fun to work with! Their only instructions to us were to keep it fun and be different! Taking that to heart I suggested we leave the wedding venue and head out for areas less known! A great spontaneous time was had by all. Michelle & Adam were a huge help with coming up with some great ideas along the way. The couple is originally from Topeka but now live in Palm Springs, California.
Jake is a senior this year at Washburn Rural High School here in Topeka. His plans for the future include a desire to attend law school. We had a lot of fun getting to know Jake and his parents during his photo sessions!
Taylor told me she is a happy person and wanted her images that we created to show that she loves life and is a happy person! The Fall leaves were perfect for her senior photographs. Taylor says she loves to read and has read all of the “Vampire” books that have been released so far. She also enjoys working at school on Photoshop and enjoys photography. Have a great senior year at Topeka High Taylor!!
